TW Steel Australasia is offering retailers and their staff members the opportunity to win a car every time they sell a TW steel watch between now and mid-October.
Managing director Scott Patchett said that the major prize in the company’s new sales incentive, which kicked off on July 16 and will run until October 15, is a 2012 Mini Ray Hatch valued at $28,880.
“Every time a staff member from one of our authorised stockists sells at TW Steel watch, they will receive an entry into the draw to win the car,” he said.
“The more watches they sell, the more entries they receive.”
Patchett said retailers and their staff also had the opportunity to win “many other prizes” as the incentive’s total prize pool totalled “over $45,000” and included a wide range of electrical goods and gift vouchers.
In addition, the stores with the most overall sales and the stores with the best TW Steel display during the incentive period, were also eligible to enter separate prize draws for the chance to win gift packs containing a coffee machine, a sandwich press, a toaster, a kettle and an iPod speaker and clock.
Patchett said the sales incentive was just “one element” in the company’s comprehensive marketing and promotional campaign for the second half of 2012.
“It aims to further increase the brand awareness of TW Steel at store level and is one way to assist retailers to increase sales and create some excitement instore during the current challenging retail environment.”
He said that since launching the brand in Australia in 2009, TW Steel had run “smaller sales incentives for staff that have included watch giveaways, gift cards or cash. This is the first time we have executed a major sales incentive for TW Steel, and based on the success of the campaign so far, it won’t be the last time.”
