Dracakis wins business championship – again

Dracakis Jewellers has been named Champion Jewellery Store at the 2014 Australian Small Business Champion Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony.

Sydney’s Dracakis Jewellers has been named Champion Jewellery Store at the 2014 Australian Small Business Champion Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony.

It is the fourth time Dracakis has won the award – the family owned business also took home the prestigious prize in 2007, 2012 and 2013.

Accepting this year’s award in front of over 900 guests at the Westin, Drakakis’s Mosman boutique manager Theodore Dracakis said the family was ecstatic to win the award.

“Being a second generation family business, we are very honoured to have been voted as the Best Jewellery Store in Australia three years in a row,” he said.

“My father has instilled in my two brothers and I that customer service is the key to having a great business and that is what we strive to do every day of the year.

“We are ecstatic to have won this award four times now and it is a testament to the quality jewellery that we love to create each and every day for our clients.”

Established by Paul and Helen Dracakis in 1980, Dracakis Jewellers now has two stores (one in Mosman and another in the Warringah Mall shopping centre in Brookvale) which are managed by Paul and his three sons, Theodore, Nick and Peter.
