Announcing the new initiative, TWM Co’s chief operating officer Roberto Ulas said the price guarantee was a first for the company – and a first for the Australian jewellery industry.
“We will be the first wedding ring manufacturer to give a price guarantee for any Australian-made wedding rings,” he said.
Under the guarantee, which applies to “plain wedding bands only”, TWM Co will guarantee that “if you find a lower price we will beat it by 10 per cent”.
Ulas said the company was making the offer because “retailers are so busy and wedding rings are not on the top of their list”.
“The ultimate aim of this campaign is to show the Australian jewellery retail industry that we can save them money by just comparing and switching.“
“We just want to save retailers’ time by promising them if they make one phone call it will be worth it,” he said.
“When talking to retailers it’s amazing to hear how hard they negotiate their rents and how they use websites to compare their insurance or electricity and so on to save money… but when we ask them when was the last time they checked their wedding ring prices most have a blank stare.”
Ulas said TWM Co could offer the price guarantee as the company invests in cutting-edge technology.
“This saves us time and money and we pass the savings to our customers,” he said.
“I believe due to the advanced technology we apply to our manufacturing techniques and the use of our incredible alloys our quality is superior then what is available out there for far better price.”
TWM Co manufactures wedding bands in 9, 14 and 18 carat gold as well as platinum, titanium, palladium and silver with or without diamonds.
