Actor and activist Emma Watson has joined the board of directors at Kering, the luxury goods group that owns Boucheron, Girard-Perragaux and Ulysse Nardin as well as Gucci and YSL, among others.
Watson has become a high-profile campaigner for sustainability, women’s rights and gender equality. Sustainability is an area of focus for the company which has promised to reduce its environmental footprint by 40%. The company employs more than 38,000 people and, in 2019, generated US$17.9 billion in revenue.
