Trollbeads is gearing up for an exciting 2013 with the release of 10 new collections and the launch of an online learning tool for retailers.
Scanlan & Co marketing manager Chris Scanlan said that in 2011 the company was approached to take on the distributorship of the Danish brand “which we did because we believed in the high quality and the story behind the product, and saw further growth and opportunities in the bead market”.
“Established in 1976 Trollbeads is the creator of the original ‘bead on bracelet’ concept, he said.
“The combination of originality, creativity, very high quality and a love for quirkiness is what makes Trollbeads different from other jewellery.”
Scanlan said the company already promotes the brand in local magazines such as Madison, In-Style and Virgin Voyeur but was gearing up its advertising spend with “larger exposure aimed at the fashion magazines”.
In addition, Scanlan & Co is releasing 10 separate Trollbeads collections in Australia this year including “the usual season collections which are always keenly anticipated” and “a new designer collection”.
Scanlan said Trollbeads has also just launched an online learning tool called E-Learning to help retailers increase their product knowledge and thus “their sales and service to their customers”.
“E-Learning is an exciting development for Trollbeads retailers,” he said.
“It enables retailers to learn everything they need to know to sell Trollbeads in their own time and at their own pace without leaving the comfort of their own homes or stores.”
