Brisbane Fair investigates Changing Face of Retail

The 'Changing Face of Retail' will be the subject of two seminars at the JAA Australian Jewellery Fair in Brisbane next month.

The ‘Changing Face of Retail’ will be the subject of two new seminars at the JAA Australian Jewellery Fair in Brisbane next month.

Simon Dell, director of creative marketing agency TwoCents Group, will present both seminars.
In the first seminar, ‘Shopping: How It’s Changing and How Consumers Have Changed’, Dell will compare old retail models with new ones and present “success stories in different channels of retail” to help jewellery retailers develop their businesses.
He will also take a close look at changes in consumer behaviour over the past 20 years and how buying patterns have shifted with the growth in technology and social media.
In the second seminar, ‘Technology: Adapt or Die!’, Dell will discuss the technology and social media consumers today shop with and then outline ways that retailers can engage such consumers and gauge success.
Gary Fitz-Roy, the managing director of fair organiser Expertise Events, said the seminars were just two reasons for jewellery retailers to attend the JAA Australian Jewellery Fair Brisbane.
“With more than 100 exhibitors, the Fair is a must-attend event for all jewellery retailers,” he said.
“It is the perfect opportunity to top up stocks following the post-Christmas season in preparation for Mother’s Day.”
The JAA Australian Jewellery Fair will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from March 17-18.

Dell’s seminars will be held on Sunday March 17 at 11.30am and on Monday March 18 at 11.30am.
