The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), the world’s leading standard-setting organisation for the global jewellery and watch industry, has released a human rights due diligence toolkit for the wider industry.

It joins a library of other resources created by RJC to help small and medium enterprises on their sustainability journey, including practical guidance, toolkits and templates. The toolkits are available free on the RJC website and cover topics such as due diligence for diamonds and coloured gems, precious metals, retailer sustainability, gender equality and risk assessment.

Every toolkit RJC produces addresses a critical and timely need: consumers want to know where their jewellery comes from, how it is made and who has a hand in crafting it. Having those answers and systems in place deepens trust with consumers and strengthens your business.
