Thomas Sabo launched its Autumn/Winter 2013 sterling silver ‘Glam & Soul’ collection media and celebrity guests at the Pavilion in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens on Monday (July 8).
Guests at the party, including Luke Jacobz, Samantha Harris, Alice Burdeu, Danny Clayton, Scott Tweedie, Casey Burgess, Ash London, Carmen Smith, and Rochelle Fox, had the opportunity to view the new AW2013 advertising campaign featuring brand ambassador Poppy Delevingne as well as view and try on pieces from the new collection.
The Thomas Sabo ‘Glam & Soul’ women’s collection, renowned for its sterling silver creations, sparkled with the brand’s new design signature for 2013 – 18 carat yellow and rose gold-plated sterling silver.
According to Delevingne, the theme of the new collection is love.
“Simply irresistible golden feathers are symbols of a very hippie, romantic, almost ethereal love while beautifully designed love knots reflect a never ending, truly romantic love story,” she said, adding that “funky, flexible teddy bears add the extra but charming sparkle”.
“There is something here for everyone.”
Phil Edwards, the managing director of local Thomas Sabo distributor Duraflex Group Australia, told party guests that the collection, which included the revival of ear-cuffs, was launched in Germany two weeks ago.
