All is pretty in pink at Tiffany & Co. with their recently announced final bespoke collection from the now-closed Argyle Diamond Mine. Previously located by Lake Argyle in the remote north of Western Australia, Argyle Diamond Mine closed their doors in 2020 after a 37 year run due to the exhaustion of resources.
Argyle Diamond Mine accounted for at least 90% of all pink diamond discoveries, proving it to be a significant source globally. Despite the cease of mining operations, Argyle’s exclusively offered Tiffany’s to showcase these amazingly rare pink diamonds. Argyle’s choosing Tiffany & Co. in this spectacularly unique opportunity is reflective of the company itself, a brand that can be entrusted with such a special collection.
The collection of 35 Argyle Pink™ features a wide array of pinks with three diamonds over one carat which too, is a rarity due to the conditions in which the diamonds formed, they are rarely over a carat.
