The award winning jeweller announced this week that the competition crown was designed using impeccable high quality Preciosa Crystal Components.
Tresor and Preciosa worked together to produce this year’s crown, inspired by timeless elegance and glamour. The 2016 Miss Great Britain winner will be crowned with a classic piece combining Preciosa classic round cut crystals with marquise and pear shaped crystals set into a base of silver plate.
When asked about the 2016 crown, Salim Hasbani Tresor Paris director, said, “It is an honour to be designing and making this year’s Miss Great Britain crown with Preciosa Crystal Components. The Miss Great Britain competition made its debut in 1945 and is a leading UK pageant. The event represents strong and successful young women with beauty throughout. The 2016 competition takes place the end of September with the Tresor/Preciosa crown being unveiled to finalists in August.
