Handmade in Germany, the brand combines 316L stainless steel, rhodium-plated silver, anodised aluminium, Swarovski elements and haematite with a variety of stones and materials.
Timesupply managing director Ken Abbott said the company discovered the brand while in Europe in 2013.
“It was amazing how many retailers were stocking Coeur De Lion,” he said.
“When we introduced ourselves as a distributor from Australia and New Zealand they could not stop raving about how great the brand was selling and the quality.”
Timesupply completed negotiations for the local distributorship with owners/designers Nils and Carola Eckrodt and their management team during Baselworld in April.
Abbott said he believes Coeur De Lion will be a success in Australia as it “is already a huge success in over 30 countries, it is unique and has just been announced Winner of the Jewellery Brand of the Year 2014 at Retail Jeweller’s UK Watch and Jewellery Awards last month”.
“There is nothing like it in our market.”
He said the brand’s target market is women of all ages who “want something unique and special but also excellent value”.
“The jewellery is eye catching and uses an intriguing combination of materials with an array of colour combinations.”
