Swarovski unveiled its Fall Collection, Facets of Light, to its global audience on the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in Sydney last week.
Swarovski creative director Nathalie Colin said the company, which is a premium sponsor for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, was thrilled to unveil the collection in Australia.
“Being one of the world’s leading premium jewellery brands constantly looking for innovation and creativity, it totally made sense for our brand to join this event to perpetuate the tradition and be here in Australia where designers share with us the same quest,” she said.
“Australia is a key market for the brand, and as such, producing a runway show for Australian audiences was a natural fit.“
“We hope the Australian audience will appreciate how jewellery can twist a silhouette for everyday occasions and not only for the exceptional moments,” she said.
“My constant search for modernity will meet refinement, glamour and femininity in this collection which celebrates lights, facets and reflections – all in all, a collection that perfectly exemplifies Swarovski’s DNA, combining art, fashion and creation in a sparkling way.”
Featuring mixed plating and vibrant colours, the Facets of Light collection comprises more than 50,000 crystal stones.
