Modern Family star Sofia Vergara has joined forces with America’s biggest jewellery retailer, Kay Jewelers, to launch her first jewellery collection.
The ‘SOFIA VERGARA so Sofia’ collection of 10 carat gold and sterling silver rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets is set with diamonds and semi-precious gemstones.
Each piece in the collection also includes “a hidden natural emerald” to symbolise Vergara’s home country, Colombia.
Announcing the launch of the collection, Kay Jewelers president Ed Hrabak said the company, which has 1400 stores in the US, was thrilled to be launching the new collection with Vergara.
“We always seek to provide our customers with the most innovative and exciting brands in the industry. The SOFIA VERGARA so Sofia collection is a vibrant, bold and stylish collection that celebrates an authentic passion for self-expression.”
Vergara added that the new collection reflects her love of jewellery.
“I’ve loved jewellery since the day I was born,” she said. “I don’t feel dressed without it. I never even go to sleep without jewellery on. It’s how I express myself − my style, attitude and the way I feel. I hope inspires women to express themselves with their own unique look that says, ‘This is so me!'”
