Showcase Jewellers members visited the Pandora factory while attending the Bangkok Trade Fair last year.
On his return Showcase CEO Michael Mishevski said the factory visit enabled Showcase members to see “the high level investment being made into the Pandora brand”.
“The group of enthusiastic jewellers spent a day at the Pandora factory where they not only witnessed the popular beads being produced but they also joined in and had first hand experience at hand-finishing the charms,” he said.
“It is evident that Pandora sees this as being a brand which will be around for many years to come. The resources being placed on research and development to help continue the innovation and setting new market trends all the while maintaining superior quality output are reassuring factors to our retailers.”
He added that from an environmental and social stance, it was also pleasing to see that the factory “is much more than what you would expect”.
“It is a sophisticated and highly technologically-advanced facility which employees over 2000 workers who appear to really enjoy their jobs and take pride in what they do.”
