Amanda Stevens, an expert on marketing and selling to women, will be the keynote speaker at the Nationwide Jewellers conference in Darwin later this month.
Stevens, who is the author of SheMarketing, SheSelling, You & Improved and PurseStrings, has dedicated nearly two decades to “understanding the science of marketing to women and the psychology of selling to women”
The former Young Australian of the Year (NSW) was appointed president and executive creative director of the marketing to women division of the Chicago-based advertising agency HY Connect last year and now divides her time between Australia and the US consulting to organisations wanting to target female customers.
Nationwide Jewellers managing director Colin Pocklington said Stevens has peered inside the minds of thousands of consumers and as a result has an intimate understanding of what works when it comes to investing in sales and marketing.
“In our industry the vast majority of sales are made by women, so Amanda’s thoughts on how to increase marketshare will be extremely beneficial, particularly in this tough trading environment,” he said.
The annual Nationwide Jewellers conference will be held from May 31 to June 3.
