Pandora has joined forces with Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art to become the major partner for the Take your time: Olafur Eliasson exhibition this summer.

The exhibition, which opened on December 10, is the first large-scale exhibition by the Danish-Icelandic artist ever to be staged in Australia.
“We are delighted to be working with the MCA to bring one of the world’s most influential artists, Olafur Eliasson, to Australian audiences,” said Pandora director Karin Adcock.
“Our designers often look to artists as a key source of inspiration. They have referenced Eliasson’s work in creating several of our most popular collections, including the exquisite LovePods and Liquid lines,” she said.
“We have a proud tradition of design in Denmark and a strong respect for the creative process. Pandora’s jewellery designs often emerge organically throughout the design process as the end product becomes clear. For our design team, the creative journey is as important as the destination.”
MCA head of marketing and sponsorship David Wynne, said the Museum is thrilled to be working with Pandora.
“We are delighted that this widely admired Danish design company is working with the MCA to bring one of their most acclaimed countrymen and one of the world’s most exciting contemporary artists to Australia.
“The sponsorship of the exhibition and association with the MCA is an excellent fit for Pandora and will provide a unique way to reinforce the company’s commitment to design innovation.”
