Virtual glamour is still the look for 2021, and the stars managed to stay glamorous, even when attending the Golden Globes.
Anthony Anderson, star of TV comedy series Black-ish, wore a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo, dazzlingly accessorised with a flamboyant orchid pin. He posed with his family who were wearing facemasks with their usual “night in front of the TV” attire.
In her virtual appearance at the Golden Globe awards, Jane Fonda managed to combine glamour and ethics by wearing an ivory suit she had owned for 25 years, accessorised with responsibly sourced gold, brown diamond and rubellite drop earrings and a rubellite cocktail ring from Italian jeweler Pomellato. Fonda was honoured at the Golden Globes with the Cecil B DeMille award for her significant and lasting impact on the film industry.
Rather than dressing up at home, the biggest names in the music industry wore their jewels to a quarantine-friendly ceremony featuring the type of red-carpet glamour we haven’t seen since 2019. Megan Thee Stallion accessorised her armful of trophies with a burnt orange Dolce & Gabbana gown and jewellery by Chopard including a Magical Setting ring. Dua Lipa wore a sparkling and versatile Versace gown, along with Bulgari’s Serpenti Viper ring while fellow performer Lizzo wore a necklace and two bracelets from Bulgari’s Serpenti range.
