NSW-based Lewis Watchmakers has recently become the official Australian service centre for German watch brands imported by Define Watches.
The brands to be serviced by the company include Joerg Schauer, MeisterSinger, Mühle Glashütte, Rainer Brand, Sothis and Sinn.
According to Define Watches managing director Peter Petzgold, this is big news for German watch enthusiasts who, until now, have faced lengthy waiting times and higher risks by having to send their timepieces to Germany for service and repairs.
“Lewis watchmakers are experienced and skilled in all facets of watchmaking and repair,” he said.
“But more than this they are passionate about what they do and dedicated to providing top level service to their clients. It is very exciting for us and the German manufacturers of the watch brands we import to have such an experienced and professional service centre in Australia.”
Lewis Watchmakers owners Simon and Naomi Lewis said they will be capable of conducting all minor and major service tasks on the watches, including Sinn’s Argon gas filling and dehumidification technology.
“We have invested heavily in special equipment to allow us to keep up-to-date and offer customers an optimal service.”
