Today is the last chance Australian jewellery retailers have to order their Christmas stock from over 250 jewellery suppliers under the one roof in Sydney.
The JAA International Jewellery Fair, which opened its doors on Sunday (September 2), will close at 4pm today (Tuesday, September 4).
Gary Fitz-Roy, the managing director of  fair organiser Expertise Events, said that although visitor numbers at this year’s Fair were similar to last year’s the mood was more “upbeat” with “very positive feedback” from both exhibitors and visitors.
He said retailers who had not the chance to visit the Fair already, should do so today.
“The Fair gives retailers an unparalleled view of the market from which to make discerning choices and broaden their outlook from their existing base of suppliers,” he said.
“To be competitive you need to have all the options.”
He said visitors to the Fair also had the opportunity to see “over 60 new suppliers” including  Daniel Bentley Fine Jewellery, Glass of Fire, U Designs, Diadema, Bjorg Jewellery, Kirstin Ash, Preyas Jewellery, Acacia Agencies and Inner Power.
The Fair will be open today from 10am to 4pm at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Entry is free but subject to “trade criteria being satisfied”

The next JAA Jewellery Fair will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from February 2 to 4.
