The Gemmological Association of Australia (GAA) is planning to give away almost $2000 in course vouchers at the JAA International Jewellery Fair in Sydney from September 1-3.

According to GAA federal publicity officer Kathryn Wyatt, Fair visitors simply have to fill out a form at the association’s stand (H12) to enter a draw and be in the running to win one of three major prizes – a $1000 voucher, a $500 voucher and an ‘Introduction to Gems and Gemmology’ voucher (value varies from state to state).

The first two vouchers can be redeemed for GAA courses such as the Diploma in Gemmology, Practical Diamond Grading and Diploma in Diamond Technology.

Wyatt said the GAA’s wide variety of courses and expertise ensured that it could offer “the most relevant course to meet education and staff training needs” in all sectors of the jewellery industry.

“GAA courses are the best investment to making a difference to anyone’s career in the jewellery industry,” she said.

The competition draw will be held at the GAA stand (H12) at 2.30pm on Tuesday September 2.
