Cyberjet owners Bevon and Karen Sinnott said they were pleased with the range and quality of Silverado while retailing it via their online business, www.caitlinscraftycreations.com.au , and therefore “welcomed the opportunity to take over distributor rights” from B-Luscious when the opportunity arose.
Peter Burgess, the managing director of B-Luscious said he decided to stop distributing Silverado (made up of sterling silver, 14 carat gold and leather jewellery and sterling silver and Murano/dichroic glass beads and charms) as it was “time to concentrate on our precious and semi-precious silver ranges which we had put on the back burner after we took over Silverado”.
“We have been distributing Silverado in Australia and New Zealand since March 2008,” he said.
“We were involved from the inception of the Silverado brand and helped with the world launch,” he said.
“Having designed a lot of the beads we are very passionate about the brand and felt that we were not devoting enough time to the brand itself and made the hard decision to pass the brand onto someone who loved the product as much as we do and had a fresh approach.”
Bevan Sinnott said that since acquiring Silverado, Cyberjet Investments had stopped retailing Silverado jewellery through Caitlin’s Crafty Creations “as a gesture of goodwill towards other Silverado stockists” and had contracted a PR and marketing specialist to support raise awareness of, and demand for, the brand.
He stressed that the change in ownership would not affect Silverado stockists although “they may notice an increase in communication as we look to connect with them and support their sales”.
To celebrate the new ownership and the launch of Silverado’s latest collection, Cyberjet are offering “a free Silverado display with all orders over $1000”.
