Erin Holland, the model in Cashelle’s latest UrbanMetro advertising campaign, featured on the cover of the March/April issue of Jewellery World, has been crowned Miss World Australia 2013.
Holland was crowned Miss World Australia in Sydney on July 20 and will now compete in the Miss World pageant in Indonesia on September 28.
Arthur Pike, the managing director of Cashelle Fine Jewellery, said Holland was one of four models chosen by him and photographer Richard Weinstein to wear the company’s new UrbanMetro jewellery range in the new advertising campaign.
He said she was chosen for “her looks and personality” which matched “the type of person who could best be seen wearing the new UrbanMetro jewellery range.
“Richard and I were unaware that Erin was going to enter the Miss World Australia competition, although we were not surprised when she won as she is very good looking and has a great personality,” said Pike.
The UrbanMetro photos featuring Holland will be used in “posters, POS material, catalogues and magazine advertisements”.
“We have congratulated her on her new title and wished her the best of luck in the final judging.
“We have also sent some of our jewellery for her in recognition for the work she has put into becoming Miss World Australia.”
