Just one year after launching in Australian gift and fashion jewellery stores, Supply Demand Networks has begun selling the colourful Candy Time watch collection to jewellery retailers.
Speaking at the company’s exhibition stand at the JAA Australia Jewellery Fair, SDN director Laila Hoffman said the German watch collection, which has been retailing in Europe for five years, was set to win market share from other fashion watch brands currently retailing in Australia.
“We currently distribute the watches to around 100 gift and fashion stores around Australia,” she said.
“My goal now is to have the brand in 100 jewellery stores with the next 12 months.”

Hoffman, a Sunshine Coast based fashion and accessories retailer and wholesaler, said the watches were fashionable and “very affordable” with retail priced starting at $59.

“I think our price point will shake up the industry a little bit,” she said.
“The new 100-store target may sound ambitious but I am very confident we will achieve it – one of our gift stores sold over 500 watches during the Christmas period.”
The Candy Time collection includes a core selection of 15 brightly coloured watches as well as a number of add-on ranges including neon and sorbet coloured watches as well as ‘White Fashion’ (white watches with colourful dials), ‘Black Line’ (black watches with colourful accents) and Juicy Glamour (brightly coloured watches with Swarovski crystal bezels).
