The JAA Australian Jewellery Fair in Brisbane is a 'sell-out' with a 21 percent increase in first-time exhibitors.
The JAA Australian Jewellery Fair in Brisbane is a “sell-out” with a 21 percent increase in first-time exhibitors.
Due to be held at the Brisbane Conference and Exhibition Centre in March, the Fair “focuses on the future outlook of the industry as a whole”.
Gary Fitz-Roy, the managing director of Expertise Events, said the Fair has “truly come into its own in 2010”.
“The relaxed weekend environment combined with the fantastic new talent, product ranges and exhibitors makes this a fantastic opportunity to restock for the year ahead,” he said.
According to Fitz-Roy, the Brisbane Fair and the JAA International Jewellery Fair (held in Sydney in August) provide buyers with the opportunity to strategically plan their purchasing around two critical periods a year – pre- and post- Christmas.
“This is reflected by the number of major brands locking in new product launches to be revealed at the Fair for the post-Christmas restock. Additionally, several leading brands are using this year’s Fair as a key platform to re-show and reinforce their new ranges that were launched at the JAA International Jewellery Fair.”
