Launched to inspire creativity and innovation in diamond jewellery design, the competition is open to entrants from the US, Canada, Hong Kong, China, India and Australia who can submit designs in four categories – Champagne Diamonds, Silvermist Diamonds, Canadian Diamonds and Sustainable Jewellery.
In November Curtis and the other members of the judging panel will select two winning designs from each category which will then be showcased at the 2012 Academy Awards
Glenn Curtis said it was an honour to be selected as a judge, as the invitation not only recognises him personally, but also highlights the world class skills of Australian jewellers.
“I have been making jewellery for 35 years and it has been an amazing journey that still gives me great pleasure,” he said.
Over the last 10 years, Glenn Curtis and the team at Curtis Australia have gained a reputation overseas for innovative design and high quality fine jewellery and luxury pens.
