De Beers RVL is the name of the diamond brand’s first genderless jewellery collection.
Featuring seven pieces – a mix of pendants, rings and bracelets – the collection is created from 18k white gold and diamonds, with 18k rose gold and black titanium.
CEO of De Beers Jewellery and De Beers Forevermark, Celine Assimon, said the pieces can be worn alone, stacked or styled in infinite ways to suit any preference.
“The beauty of this collection is that there is no prescription about who should wear these pieces or how they should be styled; it is entirely up to the wearer,” she said, in a statement.
Each piece incorporates De Beers’ monogram with “D” and “B” outlines engraved in lines to mimic the appearance of code, or a gear when viewed from the side. This ambiguous element of the design, according to the brand, reflects the wearer’s “unique character which is not immediately evident – it must be revealed.”
“The designs feature a secret code, but they also reflect striations visible in rocks, which reveal the story of the earth in which our diamonds were formed naturally. De Beers RVL serves to signify both our commitment to design jewellery that allows our clients to express who they are and our heritage as pioneers of diamond perfection,” said Assimon.
De Beers RVL is available globally with prices ranging from USD $950 to $5,900.
