Alessio Boschi made his debut in the jewellery industry in 1996 and has achieved many outstanding accomplishments since then. After graduating from the Academy of Costume and Fashion in Rome, he focused on designing amazing jewellery, with an emphasis on coloured gemstones. In 1999, he collaborated on a project involving the Millenium Sapphire, which is the largest gem-quality sapphire in the world.

Since then, Boschi has won copious amounts of prestigious awards including the Jewellery Design’s Italian Designer of 2009, Best Pearl Design at the Couture Awards Las Vegas 2008 and 2010, Veranda Art of Design Award New York 2010, Centurion Designer Competition Award Arizona 2013, Beijing Jewellery Bazaar Awards 2012, 2014 and 2015, and most recently the International Jewellery Design Excellence Award 2015, 2017 and 2019.

The "Homage to the Renaissance" set is an award-winning spectacle that showcases remarkable micro-mosaics adorned with pearls and rubellites. The earrings feature lockets that reveal intricate micro-mosaic paintings of famous Italian motifs, including Michelangelo’s David. The necklace has 18 strands of rubellite beads and pearls and a locket that features micro-mosaic paintings of the dome of Florence’s Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Caterina de Medici, regent of France in 1611.
