The International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) and the Brazilian Gems and Jewellery Trade Association (IBGM) are pleased to announce Brasilia, Brazil, as the host city for the 20th ICA Congress, set for May 19 to 22, 2025. With the theme “Gems for Generations,” the congress will focus on building a sustainable future across the coloured gemstone supply chain and strengthening consumer confidence to ensure a lasting legacy for the global gemstone industry.
Following the successful 19th ICA Congress in Dubai in 2023, which saw over 150 delegates from 25 countries come together to discuss the “Future of Coloured Gemstones,” the 20th congress aims to deepen discussions on the sustainability and ethical practices shaping the industry. With Brasilia as the backdrop—a city known for its iconic design and rich cultural heritage—this third ICA Congress hosted in Brazil will offer attendees an invaluable opportunity for networking, knowledge-sharing, and insights into one of the world’s most gem-rich nations.
