Swarovski celebrated Miranda Kerr’s first official engagement as brand ambassador “in her home country” with a dinner for local and international media at Sydney’s Bennelong restaurant on May 13.
Kerr officially welcomed guess, including Emma Lung, Kyly Clarke, Romy Frydman, Laura Dundovic, Tom Williams and Rachel Gilbert, to the event saying she was “thrilled” to be associated with the Austrian brand.
Kerr was appointed brand ambassador for Swarovski late last year and has since featured in the company’s advertising in 25 countries.
Swarovski creative director Nathalie Colin said Kerr was selected as the brand’s muse as she “affirms the brand’s desire to demonstrate a glamour that is equally multifaceted”.

“She has a face that is recognised the world over and represents a very contemporary idea of women, which illustrates the Swarovski brand perfectly.”

In Australia the company has 37 boutiques, two kiosks, 10 concessions and four factory outlets while in New Zealand it has four boutiques and one concession.
