Following the successful launch of Kenzo jewellery onto the Australian market last year, local wholesaler Lady Schmuck is planning to launch Kenzo watches at the JAA International Jewellery Fair in August.
Lady Schmuck director Maja Karavasilis said the Kenzo jewellery collection (made up of around 110 sterling silver pieces with an average retail price ranging from $450 to $500) had enjoyed “great success with high-end jewellers” since its July launch.
“We are now looking to emulate that success with Kenzo watches,” she said.
“Europe has enjoyed Kenzo watches for a number of years and we are so happy to share their happy prints and colours with Australians for the first time.
“The response to the range from existing Kenzo jewellery retailers has already been excellent so we are expecting a similar response at the JAA Fair.”
She said the watches, with an average recommended retail price of $385 each, feature “floral prints, playful details, cheerful colours and impertinent shapes”.
The watches also boast Japanese Miyota movements and a mixture of genuine leather, textile, synthetic and metal bands “to mix and match with jewellery and suit every fashionista”.
Lady Schmuck will also be displaying Paul & Joe Jewellery, GL Paris, Vallés Dordal and XC38 Pure Steel jewellery at the JAA Fair.
