Showcase Jewellers has celebrated the Breast Cancer Network Australia’s 15 year anniversary with a donation of $32,530.

The buying group launched a two-piece jewellery collection last year to raise money for the national charity. Crafted from sterling silver and set with pink Swarovski zirconia, the pendant and pin retails for $34.95 each with $10 from every purchase going directly to BCNA.

Showcase Jewellers general manager Carson Webb said the buying group is “over the moon” with the support that the fundraising promotion has received and was “ecstatic to present BCNA with a cheque for $32,530”.

“It is great to see both our members and their customers recognising the importance of the work that BCNA does and getting behind such a worthy cause,” he said.

“The Showcase Jewellers network gives all of our independently owned and operated stores the chance to give back to their community.
“It has been a privilege to be involved with such an inspirational organisation and we look forward to an ongoing partnership with BCNA.”

Kirsten Pilatti, head of sponsorship and communications at BCNA, added that the network was thrilled to have celebrated BCNA’s 15 year anniversary with Showcase Jewellers in such a meaningful way.

“More than 15,000 women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia this year alone,” she said.

“Every time a woman is told she has breast cancer, the impact extends to her family, friends and those around her in the community.

“Without support from generous companies, like Showcase Jewellers, BCNA wouldn’t be able to continue to support these women and their families.”
