A husband and wife team of Sydney jewellers, Lucia and Luciano Cerone of Luciano Jewellers, have won a trip to the Vicenza Jewellery Fair in May.
The couple were the big winners in a competition organised by Lindsay’s Jewellers (the Australian distributors of Morellato Jewellery).
To enter the competition jewellery retailers had to purchase Morellato jewellery to become a “Morellato Platinum customer” during the competition period from September 1 to November 30.
The prize was drawn by the JAA president Ian Hadassan at the JAA offices in York St, Sydney on December 2.
Lindsays Mark McNeil said the Cerones, who are both Australian-born but have Italian heritage, have not been to Italy since their honeymoon 13 years ago.
“They have stocked the Morellato range for a number of years and it is one of their best selling brands.”
The Cerrones prize package (valued at $5000) includes return flights for two people to Venice, four nights accommodation and a tour of the Morellato factory in Padua, and getting to see the Vicenza fair itself.
