Academy-award winner Kate Winslet sparkled at yesterday’s Academy Awards with a US$2.5 million yellow diamond necklace, 10-carat fancy intense yellow diamond earrings and three yellow diamond bracelets.
The stunning Art Deco-inspired platinum jewellery was designed specifically for the event by Tiffany & Co.
According to the company, the triple-drop pendant features three extraordinarily rare fancy vivid yellow diamonds.
“The rectangular-shaped 13.09-carat yellow diamond and two approximately 6-carat yellow diamonds are among the most sought-after stones in the world,” the company said.
“Tiffany jewelers surrounded these captivating diamonds with a total of 642 round brilliant white diamonds, each exquisitely cut and hand set.”
