Wedding ring brand Dora has launched an iPod, iPhone and iPad application which will provide jewellers access to instant quotes in real time prices for its entire wedding ring range.
Dora general manager Stephen Brown said the launch of the application was an “exciting transition” for the company.
“With over 4000 designs and hundreds of thousands of different combinations, it has been impossible for Dora to issue full price lists, so Dora quotes have until now been mainly handled over the phone within business hours,” he said.
“However with this new technology, the application now conveniently provides jewellers with an instant quote at any time of the day for rings with differing precious metals, widths and sizes.”
He said the application will also act as “a beautiful portable catalogue” that will provide jewellers with a fantastic selling tool allowing customers to literally ‘flick’ through the different rings with instant quoting.
“We believe our Dora jeweller partners will also recognise the advantages and convenience with the error-free order placement too.
