The 22-piece Disney Silver collection features some of Disney’s best known characters including Mickey and Minnie Mouse as well as iconic symbols like Cinderella’s glass slipper on necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
Michael Tran, co-owner of CET & Co, said the silver collection was created to meet local demand from retailers and consumers.
“We have been selling gold-plated Disney Couture jewellery in Australia for six years and while that has been very successful a lot or our customers have been asking for a solid silver range so we created Disney Silver.”
He said the new collection, which will be showcased at next month’s JAA International Jewellery Fair in Sydney, had already “experienced a massive uptake” from around 100 existing Disney Couture stockists as well as “incredible feedback” from the brand’s large social media fan-base.
“Disney Silver is designed to target lovers of girly and feminine fine jewellery (typically females between the ages of 13-35),” he said.
“The collection offers timeless pieces at a low price point with retail prices ranging from $49 to $159.”
Tran said retailers of Disney Silver, like retailers of Disney Couture, would enjoy “a lot of marketing support” from the company.
“My business partner, Phillip Croelli, and I both have a background in jewellery retailing so we understand what help retailers need to sell their stock,” he said.
“That’s why we have set a low price point for the jewellery and that’s why we support retailers with advertising/public relations, Point-of-Sale and a warranty on all our products.”
