Hollywood megastars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have created their first jewellery collection for Asprey in London.
The ‘Protector Collection’ is made up of gold pendants, rings, earrings and bangles as well as silver accessories including a spoon and an egg cup – each piece emblazoned with a curled snake.
According to Asprey, the limited edition collection was inspired by Jolie’s view that a snake is an iconic guardian, a cultural symbol of family protection.
Jolie received a snake ring during her first pregnancy with daughter Shiloh, who was born in 2006, and has since been photographed wearing snake-themed jewellery on numerous occasions.
All net proceeds from the sale of the jewellery will be donated to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict (EPCC), which Jolie co-founded in 2006 to raise money for educating child victims of war, conflict and natural disasters.
The collection, which was handcrafted at Asprey’s flagship store in Bond Street, London, will be sold at Asprey stores in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Dubai as well as online at http://www.asprey.com
