Twenty-two-year-old Bianca Silver debuted her Bianc “fresh fashion-forward” jewellery collection at the JAA Australian Jewellery Fair in Melbourne.
Silver, the daughter of Perth jewellery store owners Melanie and Neil Silver, established her jewellery designing and manufacturing business in Perth in December 2011 supplying a few key retail outlets but has recently relocated her office and design studio to “more central” Sydney.
She said the Bianc collection, which focuses on “clean lines and contemporary design”, was initially crafted from sterling silver set with semi-precious gemstones such as rose quartz, calcite, green averturine and chalcedony but has recently expanded to include 18 carat gold overlay pieces.
“I want to create fine jewellery featuring genuine stones at an affordable price point,” said Silver.
With retail prices ranging from $35 to $399, Bianc is designed to “work equally well in silver stores and fine jewellery stores”.
“I want to build Bianc into a well-known and respected brand,” said Silver.
“Therefore I have made sure that not only is the jewellery of the highest quality but that the packaging and POS material is too.
“I also promote Bianc and stockists on the Bianc website as well as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.”
