Duraflex launched Thomas Sabo’s first diamond collection, Sweet Diamonds, with a party for over 100 fashion and lifestyle journalists and a “handful of selected celebrity guests” in Sydney last week.
Guests at the party, which was held at The Tea Room in the Queen Victoria Building, included singer-songwriter Brian McFadden, actors Rebecca Breeds and Luke Jacobz, media personalities Kathryn Robinson, Sally Obermeder, Magdalena Roze Jaynie Seal, Vogue Williamsand Maude Garret as well as former Australian cricketer Nathan Bracken and his wife Haley Bracken.
Thomas Sabo international representative Hanny Freund officially launched Sweet Diamonds at the party explaining that each sterling silver piece in the collection featured real diamonds framed in yellow gold.
“This exquisite combination gives the delicate items of the jewellery a special preciousness, while the charming motifs convey a dreamy chic,” she said.
“The classical, round brilliant-cut diamond has been chosen to especially underline the sheer elegance of the Sweet Diamonds collection.
“Sweet Diamonds animates young girls to discover their feminine side and to display their girly and coquettish qualities, and it also encourages women to not lose their sense of these and to always emphasise their spirited elegance.”
Phil Edwards, the managing director of Thomas Sabo’s local distributor, Duraflex, said it is an extremely affordable luxury range which will retail for $100-$300 in Australia.

Sweet Diamonds is set to land on retailers’ shelves late next month.
