After two years retailing on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, one of Asia’s most successful simulated diamond and gemstone jewellers has entered the local wholesale market.

Based in Hong Kong, the Australian branch of Carat* jewellery (called Carat Gioielleria) has a retail store in Noosa under the management of operations director Bianca Bloomfield.

She said the brand, which was established in in 2004, is “changing the way we all think about costume jewellery” and “in the process revolutionising the entire industry”.

“Carats* high quality simulated gemstones are shaped with painstaking craftsmanship to make some of the most desirable, yet affordable, jewellery worn by stars such Michelle Williams and Lisa Snowden,” she said.

Jewellery in the range retails for $110 to $3000 – the most “available  price point is from $300 to $800”.

“After successfully running our retail store in Noosa we are now looking for resellers around Australia,” she said.

Carat* will be on display at Stand B15 at the JAA International Jewellery Fair.
